We believe that in order to bring change, we must think and act differently, and take some occasional risks. Hence, our approach to imparting learning is often experimental and unorthodox. While we emphasise on academics, we want the children to indulge in curiosity and self discovery. We believe that learning is hands on and not always in the classroom.We do this by lay great stress on preserving our local heritage, the arts and sports,While we are experimental in our approach, we want to ensure you that we are equally serious about the academics. would like tell you that MHMS is going to the first ever school of Kargil to be affiliated with the CBSE board. This is done to ensure that the curriculum received by our students is at par with the national level schools.I am thankful to the parents for the continuous support and encouragement. I appeal to theparents that our doors are always open for any suggestions that you might have, rest assured that you have made the right decision by choosing our school. We can onlyimprove and learn through a give and take approach. hope that relationship will only grow stronger in the future.

It gives me great honour to welcome you to our family i.e Munshi Habibullah Mission School. We had a modest start in 2004 as the first ever Pre-School in Ladakh and today. after only eight years, we are proud be a well established Day Boarding cum Residential school with a strong foundation of deep rooted values and a vision to create global minds
Munshi Habibullah Mission School is a realization of a dream my father saw, for the educational development of the region of Kargil. He was a visionary and a pioneer in introducing modern education to this area He realized that there was growing a trend of many parents sending their children to cities like Srinagar, Jammu and New Delhi with the hope of providing them better quality education. While it serves well for families who could afford it but unfortunately, majority of our children remain deprived of these facilities. It was for this reason that Munshi Habibullah wanted to provide equal education opportunity for each and every child regardless of their social and economic status, gender and even differently-abled children, what we term as "Inclusive Education" today. With his dream in mind, at MHMS, we strive to bring all the amenities, facilities and techniques of modern and global education to our region and make it really affordable. Our aim is to develop the overall personality of the children so that they compete at par with their counterparts studying in the cities.
In order to materialize this vision, we have been working hard to provide all the necessary exposure to the children at our school. As an institution we are tying up with many experts and organizations in India as well as abroad who are working with us and guiding us in developing curriculum for innovative techniques of education. In order to develop quality teachers and staff, we frequently send our local staff for training to our partner schools in New Delhi. We have also started a volunteer a program in our school, through which we try to bring individuals who work with the children in developing skills in the areas such as crafts, arts, public speaking, sports and many more. We have also collaborated with a German based NGO called Ladakh Hilfe. Together we work as REWA NA KASCO and are focused on treating children with physical and mental disabilities and provide equal education opportunities for them.
We are privileged in getting an opportunity to impart quality education to children and build their character. The school is blessed with an expansive campus, innovative teaching methodology, quality teaching & administrative staff and above all genuine willingness to educate the future generation. Our main objective is to train the students into all round personalities to shoulder the responsibility of contributing to the development of the society. I feel privileged to be part of this family and It is a challenge to come up to the expectations of the students but it is our duty to satisfy their curiosity and provide the best to our students, here we guide them towards the right path to translate their talents to full potential.
Our school offers a diverse academic curriculum, wide arrray of co-circular activities and frequently strive to enhance our students strength. Not only did we make tremendous activities strides in past years, but we also achieved significant atheletic excellence.
With the support of the dear parents we seek to create an environment that will help the students to realize their dreams.
